Foundation
Universal Music is a string-instrument manufacturer that was established in 1960 in Inchon City, South Korea. Our President was taught by the director of Chicago School of Violin Making, Tschu Ho Lee. In 1992, we have established our second manufacturing factory in Tianjin, China. With our 45 years of experience and knowledge in violin manufacturing, President Chung acquired maestro degree by German government.  We opened our U.S. Workshop in Los Angeles to serve our customers' special needs. Our U.S branch is not only distributing our own instruments, but distributing selected contemporary Chinese masters’ violin families as well.
We have been continuously searching for instruments that can fill up violin shops’ needs.

As we stated above, our President Chung himself is a master of violin making along with 3 other staff members. We have strong back ground of string manufacturing experience; strict inspection at each stage of construction upon completion makes the best quality of instruments.
We have been in O.E.M business for a long time to accumulate the experience of making the top quality instruments. We guarantee you will enjoy the quality of our instruments. At out U.S workshop, our master luthiers set up the instruments and inspect thoroughly before the delivery to achieve the best tone quality.
